Gym rental and basketball is available at our Hickman and SE 14th Des Moines locations. Our facilities are great for Youth Sports Teams, Practices, or Private Groups.

Our basketball courts are great for Youth Sports Teams, Practices, or Private Groups. This part of the facility can be rented to groups during low usage times for a nominal fee. Hickman | Des Moines Location Basketball and Gym Rental

The Blue Gym is reserved every Monday Night from 7 PM – 10:30 PM during the fall and winter for Women’s basketball league and on Thursday Nights from 6 PM – 10:30 PM all year for Men’s Basketball Leagues. There are several regular pick-up basketball games throughout the week during lunch or after work, as well as family times available on the weekends.

Leagues

Genesis Health Clubs offers four seasons of top level Men’s Basketball Leagues:

Winter Season: January – March

Spring Season: March – May

Summer Season: June – August

Fall Season: September – December

Women’s Basketball Leagues offers two seasons:

Winter Season: January – March

Fall Season: September – December

Seasons are 8-10 weeks in length with a Championship Tournament at the end of each season. For more information about Genesis’ Men’s and Women’s Basketball League, please contact Marques Rodgers at marques.rodgers@genesishealthclubs.com.
