Tennis for Beginners

If you're just starting, we have many options for your first lesson with us!

Our staff has had plenty of experience working with beginners and is eager to help you develop your skills. Jump into one of our beginner clinics, hone your skills with a private lesson, tune up for league play with a doubles drill, or get your kids moving with our youth lessons!

Clayview provides a wide variety of clinics, lessons, leagues, tournaments, and even social activities to our members. There's never been a better time to get started playing tennis.

Advanced Tennis

Our Clayview staff love to work with all levels of tennis and pickleball players - from people who have never picked up a racquet all the way to advanced, division 1 players!

We have tennis programming ranging from intense physical workouts to instructional, one-on-one lessons - and everything in between!

There's a lot of reasons people play tennis - to have fun, to improve their skills, to get a great workout, to compete - but no matter what your reason is, you'll find what you're looking for at Clayview.

Young athletes can also improve at tennis with us. We host numerous USTA-sanctioned Junior tournaments throughout the year, as well as a tennis academy for dedicated athletes.

Private & Group Tennis Lessons

The key to improving at tennis is a combination of:

• Technique and strategy repetition
• Matchplay for testing your skills
• Working on mental toughness
• Private lessons for stroke development, technical changes, and individual modifications

You can improve at all of these elements at Clayview!

Our staff works with all ages and levels to focus on your individual goals, whether that's winning the 3.5 USTA tournament, playing high school varsity, or being one of the top players in the country. We have all these types of players at Clayview and we focus on providing the best instruction to each individual, through private and small group tennis lessons - meaning you'll be able to reach your full potential as a tennis player!

Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 12 Noon
Saturday | 8 AM - Close

$20 per hour (divided by number of players)

Peak Time

Monday - Friday | 4 PM - 8 PM

$32 per hour (divided by number of players)
Reduced rate play

Great Value Time

Monday - Friday | 6 AM - 8 AM, 12 Noon - 4 PM, 8 PM - 10 PM
Saturday - Sunday | 6 AM - 8 AM

$10 per hour (divided by number of players)
*Ball machine $10/hr
*Junior walk-on (not reserved time) is free for members

Junior Tennis Open House

Join us for a free tennis trial, available for all kids ages 3 - 18! Learn about our programming and have your child try out the game with no commitment and no cost. Intended for NEW junior players who have never played tennis before!

You do NOT have to be a Genesis member to attend.
