Group Fitness Staff

Job Summary

Do you enjoy making a difference in someone else’s life? Genesis Health Clubs are looking to expand their Group Fitness Staffs at all locations. We are looking for instructors for all areas of classes including, but not limited to, Step, Hi/Lo, indoor cycling, yoga and pilates.

Water Aerobic Instructor – Rock Road and West Central


Water aerobic instructor is responsible for conducting safe and effective GENESIS water classes.  Inform and motivate new and current members on the benefits of maintaining a consistent exercise program. 

Qualifications


Experience teaching water aerobics
National Certification strongly preferred but not required – can be seeking certification
CPR and AED certification required within 90 days of hire


Personal Training

Nursery Staff

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision for children of various ages.
  • Follow and enforce guidelines for checking children into and out of nursery.
  • Follow procedures to ensure necessary payment is collected from club members.
  • Assist children with toileting needs, including regular changing of diapers.
  • Clean and disinfect toys, counters, tables and nursery facility per published cleaning checklists.
  • Organize storage containers for toys and miscellaneous items.
  • Demonstrate and promote teamwork through flexibility and a willingness to assist as needed to maintain adequate staffing of the nursery.
  • Provide laundry service, to include washing, drying, and folding, of towels supplied by club for member use.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary or required.

Expectations

  • Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the club.
  • Be responsible for working assigned shifts
  • Notify Nursery Manager or Assistant Manager when unable to work an assigned shift. Assist with finding a replacement worker, if requested to do so.
  • Strive to maintain a healthy and enjoyable place for the children to play in while maintaining good relations with club members and staff.
  • Strive to be productive at all times.
  • Infant, Child, and Adult CPR Certification.

Swim Lesson Instructor – West Central


Swim Lesson instructor is responsible for teaching group, private and semi-private lessons to infants, children and adults.  Create a fun and inviting learning environment to ensure a positive member experience.  Build strong relationships with participants and continually recommend classes or individual lessons based on skill levels.

Qualifications

Experience teaching or working with children
WSI preferred but not required
CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire
Must be proficient of swimming and safety skills

O'Naturals Cafe Staff - Rock Road Location

Job Summary

A career at O’Naturals begins as an Assembler. This position gives you the base knowledge needed to be successful in other roles in the restaurant. Exhibiting the skills and sense of urgency needed to be successful at the assembler position will allow you to be trained on other positions throughout the restaurant. Please indicate on your cover letter/e-mail the position you would like to learn after you have mastered the role of assembler.

Baker
Candidates for this position will be aided by past restaurant experience. The ability to do several things at once is important in this position. You will be empowered to make
decisions, with regards to bread production levels, which can effect the whole operation. You must ensure that piping hot and fresh sandwich bread is available using just-intime techniques. You will take great pride in your product, be excited about your role, and you will proactively discuss them both with the customer. Sometimes it will be necessary to aid assemblers during peak periods. Long periods
of time spent standing on your feet in front of a very hot oven will be offset by the excitement in a child’s eye as he watches you work your craft. The ability to learn and follow all state sanitation guidelines is essential to this position.

Assembler (Everyone Learns )
Success at O’Naturals requires learning this position. This role is the one that all other functions stem from and all O’Naturalists must learn this job. You will be aided by a great love for food, how it is prepared, and a desire to talk about it with others so you can guide O’Naturals customer through the ordering experience. Prepare sandwiches and salads in a timely manner, to the exact specification of our customers. Accurate menu knowledge will be required to answer the many questions that our health minded customers would ask. A big smile after a long day of standing and the ability to learn and follow all state sanitation guidelines is essential to this position.

Cashier
Candidates for this position should enjoy working in an environment that requires precision. An eye for quality visual display will be helpful as well. There is a high amount of customer interaction involved with this position, so the quality candidates will have a desire to learn about our complete menu and product lines. They will want to share that knowledge with our curious customers. This customer interaction will occur as you are bending, lifting, and stocking shelves or processing customer orders. The ability to interact with a number of customers at the same time, while making each feel they are getting individual attention is important. A big smile and the ability to learn and follow all state sanitation guidelines is essential to this position.
